DC Kishtwar presides over Public Grievance Redressal Camp in Binoon,Bunjwah under Weekly Block Diwas Program

DC also highlights plans for village-wise ration card verification camps, ensures hassle-free process in coordination with AD FCS&CA

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav on Thursday presided over a public grievance redress camp in Binoon, Bounjwah, as part of the weekly Block Diwas program.
Organized by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Bunjwah, the camp witnessed a substantial turnout of locals from adjoining areas, earnestly highlighting their grievances.
The event saw the presence of several district ,sectoral and block level officers including ACD Kishtwar Manoj Kumar, Tehsildar Bunjwah Tejinder Sharma, BDO Drabshalla/Bunjwah Ajay Singh, ExEn PWD Kishtwar, CAO Kishtwar Amjad Hussain, CEO Kishtwar Prehlad Bhagat, ExEn PWD Paddar, AEs of PMGSY, PWD and REW, AEE PWD Ajay Brabhat, among others from various line departments.
Led by local PRIs and public representatives like DDC member Bunjwah Amena Banoo and BDC Chairman Bunjwah Maryam Begum, the delegations raised pertinent issues regarding the upgradation of local infrastructure in health, education, road connectivity, power, water supply, and the streamlining of public service delivery mechanisms in the area.
During the camp, a range of issues were discussed, prominently focusing on staff shortages, the functioning of key offices, road connectivity, ration card verification, infrastructure development in public sector facilities, and the registration of left-out eligible beneficiaries under PMAY, among others.
The Deputy Commissioner assured prompt redressal of the raised concerns and emphasized a time-bound resolution. Immediate actions were taken on several grievances, while directions were issued to resolve the remaining issues swiftly.
Notably, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted plans for village-wise ration card verification camps, ensuring a hassle-free process in coordination with AD FCS&CA.
Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner directed BDO Drabshalla to be stationed at the Block headquarters every Thursday for convenient issue redressal and efficient monitoring of developmental works in the Panchayat.
Dr Devansh Yadav also enlightened attendees about the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and AVSAR of Mission Youth, encouraging farmers and youth to actively participate and benefit from these initiatives. The need to enlist remaining beneficiaries under PMAY was stressed upon, with promising advancements noted for the CSC center in Patnazi upon resolution of land issues.
In concluding remarks, DC Kishtwar reiterated the commitment to resolving pending issues and urged the cooperation of both citizens and officials to ensure timely redressal of issues.
Similarly, Block Diwas program was conducted at Massu in Sub-Division Paddar, presided by SDM Paddar Arun Kumar Badyal (JKAS), addressing grievances and facilitating onspot redressal.
