Jaipur(Rajasthan) : Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on Tuesday invited the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Party Bhajan Lal Sharma to form the next government in the state.
After being elected as the BJPLP leader Bhajan Lal met Governor Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhawan and staked the claim to form the next government in the state. He was accompanied by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Deputy CMs designate Diya Kumar, Prem Chand Bairwa, former CM Vasundhara Raje and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
During the meeting Rajasthan unit president of BJP CP Joshi presented a letter to the Governor regarding Sharma’s election as the leader of the BJPLP. Central observer appointed by the party and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh submitted the list of 115 MLAs.
It may be noted that Bhajan Lal Sharma was elected as the leader of the BJPLP in a meeting of the party MLAs held at the state headquarters.
