Baramulla : Baramulla district continued witnessing an exceptional display of community engagement and awareness during the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a comprehensive campaign aimed at enlightening the public about ongoing government welfare schemes for holistic development.
Secretary Tourism and Culture, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, led the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Boinyar, Subdivision Uri of Baramulla which was participated by Sub Divisional Magistrate Uri, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other senior officers besides PRIs and people from neighbouring villages.
During the event, Dr. Syed Abid inspected various stalls set up by different departments such as Health, PDD, Agriculture, ICDS, Eduction among others, showcasing an extensive array of government schemes, services, and facilities available for the public’s benefit.
Meanwhile, Dr. Syed Abid, along with other officers and the assembled public, enthusiastically tuned in to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech telecasted through a mounted LED screen on top of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van.
Subsequently, Secretary administered pledge, urging officers and the public to commit to the nation’s integrity and progress.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Syed Abid emphasized that initiatives such as the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra serve as a vital bridge, fostering closer ties between the government and the public, effectively reducing existing gaps for inclusive development.
Continuing his address, Secretary highlighted the importance of active participation by the general public in availing government-run beneficiary schemes, such as Ujwala, Ayushman, Jal Jeevan and other vital initiatives.
Commending the district administration for their relentless efforts in disseminating awareness about these schemes, Dr. Syed Abid reaffirmed commitment of the government to benefit every citizen in the district.
Later, Secretary distributed gas connections under Ujwala scheme, sanction letters, land passbooks, Ayush Cards and other certificates among the eligible beneficiaries.

VBS Yatra covers 6 more panchayats of Block G’bal, People enthusiastically participate in activities
Ganderbal : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on Tuesday covered 6 more panchayats of Block Ganderbal where people welcomed the yatra with enthusiasm amid huge participation.
The Panchayats that were covered on Tuesday include Gutlibagh, Urpash, Tullamulla-C, Tullamulla-D, Nagbal and Darend.
Various departments had set up camps to provide on-the-spot services and information to the people in these Panchayats.
The event also featured various cultural and educational activities besides health check-up camps were also organised, where allopathic and Ayurvedic medicines were provided to the people.
In these Panchayats beneficiaries shared success stories through ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’, spotlighting the advantages of PMAY Yojna, Ayushman Bharat Schemes, Ujjwala Scheme, KCC, and other flagship programs, expressing gratitude for government initiatives.
Participants pledged their commitment to “Viksit Sankalp Bharat,” symbolizing their dedication to comprehensive national development and community upliftment.
Pertinently, the initiative aims to drive awareness and participation in various government schemes, ensuring their optimal reach among targeted beneficiaries within specific timelines.

VBS Yatra covers 8 more panchayats of Pombay, Behibagh block at Kulgam
Kulgam : The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) expanded its reach to 8 more panchayats of block Pombay and Behibagh in Kulgam to spread awareness and ensure the delivery of government flagship schemes.
The panchayats covered under the Yatra include Aadigen, Gopalpora, Ladgoo Ramhama, Mirhama, Pombay and other panchayats of Behibagh.
In the district, the yatra unfolded as a testament to the commitment to rural development. Each day brought forth a new chapter in the narrative of progress and development.
The activities undertaken showcased a strategic approach towards sustainable development, touching the lives of the people at the grassroots level.
The ADDC Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather along with ACD Mohammad Imran also participated in yatra at Pombay where Officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interacted with people and motivated them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare based schemes.
Beneficiaries, who have availed services, also shared their experiences under Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative and expressed gratitude for the seamless services delivery.
Officers and officials remained busy in IEC activities at all the Panchayats of the block in an effort to reach the unreached population.
Welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had installed stalls. IEC Vans were also pressed into service.

The VBSY commenced with a Sankalp pledge, echoing a viral call for unity and progress. Participants from all walks of life pledged to contribute to the martial development of the region, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts. It aims to leave no one behind, ensuring that development reaches every corner of the district.

VBS Yatra witnesses massive turnout of people in Kupwara distt
Kupwara : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is witnessing a massive turnout of people in frontier Kupwara district making a transformative impact.
More than 93, 532 people have participated in the programme which was kick started in the district on Nov 21.
9 Panchayats of Block Kralpora of Kupwara district were covered on Tuesday under VBSY which included Aloosa, Batpora A, Batpora B, Kralpora A, Kralpora B, Kralpora C, Dardepora-D, Dardepora E and Dardsun A.
With this, 241 Panchayats, out of total 385 Panchayats of the district have been covered till date under VBSY.
All Panchayats where VBSY was organized on Tuesday presented a festive look with huge crowds thronging the venues of VBSY for instant enrollment in Government Schemes.
From Free Medical Checkups to Zero-Balance Bank Accounts, Aadhar Updates and ABHA IDs, beneficiaries of all ages are taking instant benefits. Local beneficiaries, progressive farmers and successful entrepreneurs shared their positive experiences under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’.
As part of the campaign, the IEC vans reached different Panchayats Tuesday amid a warm welcome by the Officers, PRIs and people. These Vans conveyed the message of the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
The people took the pledge and expressed their commitment for the cause.
Representatives of the line departments also presented their stalls and showcased schemes run by the government for the public welfare. They also distributed pamphlets and brochures to the people.

GDC Marh live telecast of PM’s imitative Viksit Bharat@2047
Jammu :: Government Degree College Marh enthusiastically participated in the live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, initiative, “Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth under the guidance of college Principal Prof (Dr.).Rakesh Kumar Koul.
Addressing the participants, the Principal of the college emphasized the significance of the Prime Minister’s vision, which seeks the active engagement of the youth in shaping the nation’s plans, priorities, and goals. He stressed that students need to work hard and come with their innovative ideas to solve the problems of society.
The event was organized for faculty and students in the Conference Hall of the college where the live streaming of the formal launch of the Viksit Bharat @2047 by Prime Minister was witnessed.
After witnessing the launch of Viksit Bharat @2047 by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, an interactive Session and panel discussion was also organized among the Principal, Faculty and students.
The post event Session was thrown open by the Principal of the College. He provided a holistic overview of the forthcoming journey of the country in attaining the feat of a developed nation by2047.He interacted with the students and responded to many questions ranging from the future of India vis a-vis new trends in technology, future of AI, need of skill – based courses. The problems of the rural areas such as solid waste management, its proper collection, transport, treatment and disposal was also discussed. Youth should come up with inventive ideas for major challenges such as waste management, cleaning of local water bodies which are a key aspect to achieve environmental sustainability and social progress.
Anjana Chib (HOD EVS) and Madhvi Parasher (HOD Botany) explained that the only solution of waste management is to reduce consumption and adopt a zero waste lifestyle.
A Viksit Bharat club was also formed by the students headed by Anjana Chib and Ravi Kumar PTI in which 55 students joined the group.

Doda : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made its mark in Panchayat Mohalla and Dhalkhankote, within the precincts of Block Gundna, District Doda as it orchestrated a camp to promote implementation of key government initiatives. The PRI members, frontline workers, and the local community warmly greeted the teams during the event. The officers and officials from the relevant department actively engaged with the locals and delivered varied services.
Taking off with the arrival of the IEC Van, the event unfolded with the screening of an introductory film, followed by the Viksit Bharat Pledge by the participants. The officers engaged with the public, disseminating information about government schemes and listening to the experiences of beneficiaries. The community demonstrated fervent involvement, with the government departments setting up stalls to showcase their flagship initiatives, fostering awareness and participation. VBS Yatra: IEC Van traversed through panchayats of Budhal Block, Khawas in Rajouri distt
Rajouri : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van on Tuesday traversed through Khawas, Gunda, Keri, Bhella, Sakri, Panjnara Sawari, Hubbi, Sawari Bagalaya Kote of Khawas Block and block Budhal in Rajouri District. This 72-day outreach and awareness campaign aims to promote government schemes and ensure the successful implementation of flagship programs within a specific timeframe. The program intends to provide the benefits of these schemes to all the intended beneficiaries.
As a part of this initiative, an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van traveled through the panchayats of Sokar, Panihad, Kewal Tarran, and Phalni in the Budhal Block and Budhal New areas of Rajouri District.

The public outreach campaign touched Chak Gopala, Chak Bhagwana, Devochak, Haripur, Fatehpur, Sitti, Sandroon, Kardoh, Lahri, Banjal Bhatwal, Bhatodi, and Sadrota-A. The VBSY Van, a mobile unit carrying the essence of the development journey, screened a special video message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing his vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

DC Kathua reviews implementation of PM Vishwakarma Scheme
Stakeholders asked to remove bottlenecks, carry out registrations on mission mode
Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rakesh Minhas, led a comprehensive review meeting on Tuesday to assess the progress and implementation of the Prime Minister Vishwakarma Scheme in the district. The meeting was aimed to ensure effective execution of the scheme and to address any challenges faced in the process of its implementation.
The PM Vishwakarma Scheme, a visionary initiative by the government, focuses on fostering skill development and promoting entrepreneurship among artisans, craftsmen, and traditional workers. Under the scheme, wide ranging measures are undertaken to provide training, financial support, and market linkages to empower skilled workers and boost the growth of traditional industries associated with 18 different trades.
Speaking at the meeting, the DC said that this initiative is set to empower and provide invaluable support to the artisans and craftspeople, commonly known as Vishwakarma, who form a vital part of the informal or unorganized sector of the economy.
Taking cognizance of the poor registration of Vishwakarmas in the district, the DC called upon the need to rope in BDOs, CDPOs and EO MCs to increase the number of registrations ensuring no eligible is left out.
While discussing the bottlenecks, the DC exhorted the District Coordinator, CSC to adopt people friendly and hassle free registration mechanism to facilitate the marginalized community of Vishwakarmas. He also directed all stakeholders to submit action taken reports regularly for constant monitoring and evaluation.
The DC further underscored the importance of conducting sensitization and awareness camps to ensure that every eligible artisan and craftsman reaps the benefits of this transformative scheme.
The DC also emphasized the significance of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme in empowering the skilled workforce and preserving traditional crafts. He underscored the need for a collaborative effort from all stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the scheme, thereby contributing to the economic development of the region.

VBS Yatra reaches Khour block
Jammu : As part of the nationwide campaign to spread awareness about different schemes launched by the Government of India, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Khour block on Tuesday.
The yatra was organised under the guidance of Preeti Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development Jammu and under the overall supervision of Dheeraj Sharma, Block Development Officer Khour (Nodal Officer VBSY Block Khour).
The yatra visited Govt High School Kotmaira Lower and Govt Middle School Sarmala Panchayat Kotmaira Pahariwala Upper of Block Khour, where it was welcomed by the Vice Chairman DDC Jammu, Suraj Singh, along with other dignitaries and officials.
The yatra team interacted with the general public, PRI members, students and teachers and informed them about the benefits and features of flagship schemes such as MGNREGA, PMAY(G), Swacch Bharat Mission (G), KCC, Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card, Har Ghar Jal Jeevan Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana, Umeed(NRLM), PM Vishwakarma, ICDS(Social welfare), Ladli Beti, Khelo India, One Nation One Ration, Pension Yojana and Digital Payment infrastructure.
The team also distributed pamphlets, posters and brochures related to these schemes and urged the people to avail the benefits of these schemes and contribute to the development of the nation.
The general public and PRI members appreciated the efforts of ACD Jammu and BDO Khour for organising the yatra and thanked them for bringing the yatra to their area. They also expressed their gratitude to the Government of India for launching such welfare schemes for the upliftment of the poor and marginalised sections of the society. The yatra concluded with the singing of the national anthem and a vote of thanks by the BDO Khour.

Samba : Continuing its impactful journey, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Tuesday reached and engaged with communities in Panchayat Channi Manhasan in Block Vijaypur, Panchayat Rajpura in Block Rajpura and Panchayat Paper Avtara in Block Nud.
Locals and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) warmly embraced the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van, expressing wholehearted enthusiasm for the initiative. Residents seized the opportunity to listen to the Prime Minister’s messages through the IEC Van and actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge.
The event featured lively cultural performances by school children, themed “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke,” resonating with the essence of Viksit Bharat. Additionally, the program included “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” where beneficiaries share their inspiring success stories.
To improve accessibility to government services, departmental stalls are strategically set up, offering on-the-spot delivery of services to attendees.

DC Kishtwar reviews progress under Distt Capex Budget 2023-24
Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav on Tuesday chaired a meeting of District Officers of Indenting and executing Departments to review the physical and financial progress of works under the District Capex budget–2023-24.
ADDC, Sham Lal; Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; PO ICDS, Dr Rishi Kumar Sharma; ACD, Manoj Kumar; DPO, Sunil Bhutyal; CMO, CEO ,DYSSO, ExEns REW,PWD besides BDOs attended meeting online.
At the outset, JD-Planning apprised the chair about works taken-up under District Capex. While mentioning the latest status, he informed that the works are at different stages of execution.
The DC took block wise and sector wise review of Physical and financial progress of works. He sought details from BDOs and concerned indenting Departments about the number and status of works taken up under RDD, PWD, Education, YS&S, Health and other sectors under District Capex.
He directed the officers to achieve 100 percent completion of targeted works and ensure full expenditure of the released funds . He also directed District Officers, BDOs and ExEns to personally monitor the quality and progress of all allotted works.
Expressing dissatisfaction at the slow pace of work in some blocks, the DC directed the concerned district/sectoral officers to put in best efforts for full utilization of funds released so far under different schemes.
All the indenting departments were asked to ensure cent percent utilization of released funds on allotted works by December 31st of 2023.
Special thrust was laid on the billing of the completed works besides the concerned officers were directed to commensurate the financial expenditure according to physical targets achieved.
The DC also took a detailed review of the sector wise activities being carried out by the concerned Departments in Marwah and Warwan Blocks of Kishtwar District under Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP).
He said the Aspirational Block Development Programme requires execution of all activities at a fast pace to ensure expeditious improvement in the Socio-Economic status of most backward Blocks.

VBS Yatra concludes in Block Trigam: IEC Van’s Inspiring Journey Enriches Communities across 6 Panchayats
Kishtwar : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a transformative initiative, culminated its journey through Trigam block on Tuesday, traversing all the 6 accessible panchayats.
Spanning across the Trigam block, the Yatra covered Trigam A, Trigam B, Trigam C , Jangwas, Drab and Agral panchayats.

DC Ramban reviews financial, physical achievements registered under PWD, PMGSY sectors
DC Resolves bottlenecks hampering road projects
Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review the financial and physical achievements registered under PWD, and PMGSY sectors in the district.
Reviewing the progress of PWD (R&B), Division Ramban and Banihal, the Deputy Commissioner directed the stakeholder departments to work in close coordination to resolve the local issues hindering the pace of progress on developmental projects of public interest.
He directed the concerned Executive Engineers to take help from concerned SDMs and other administrative officers to resolve bottlenecks which impact the execution of work, especially developmental projects of social sector as reflected in 14 indicators of Aspirational Block.
The Deputy Commissioner further asked stakeholders to conduct joint inspection of projects to take decision on-the-spot to resolve the issues, if any. He also directed both the departments to submit a detailed report of big projects sanctioned and taken up under Centrally Sponsored and other schemes of their respective sectors.
Reviewing the status of the ongoing road projects, the Deputy Commissioner asked the DFOs to personally monitor the forest clearance issues pertaining to the road and other social sector projects. He directed the executing agencies to ensure sustainable development of the district while planning and conducting surveys of developmental projects to preserve our forests and other natural resources and heritage of the district.
Reviewing the completion of developmental projects, the Deputy Commissioner directed all the executing agencies to achieve cent pecent both physical and financial targets against given targets.
Taking stock of progress on developmental works of UT Capex, District Capex, Area Development Fund of DDC, BDC and PRIs, and other schemes, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to focus on completion of works well in time to achieve fixed targets.
Earlier, giving a PowerPoint presentation, the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B),Ramban informed the meeting that as many as 65 roads of 149 km are being executed in the Ramban Division, besides work on major building projects of crores of rupees is going on in division including building of Government Higher Secondary School, Thetharka, Food Storage Godown building at Sangaldan, Construction of 300 mtr span Pre-stressed Double Lane (Balance Cantilever) Motorable Bridge over River Chenab, construction of Multi-Storey Bus stand at Ramban, construction of office Building-cum-car parking at Municipal Council, Ramban, Community Hall at Ward No 05 Ramban, Construction of Bal Ashram and Nari Niketan Building at Kanga, Ramban , construction of officers’ residential quarter at Maitra Ramban, construction of Transit Accommodation and facilities for Tribal population at Dalwas, construction of Hostel at Government Polytechnic at Chanderkote, Ramban, restoration of Ghoda Gali, Gool, construction of 100- bedded ST Gujjar Bakerwal Hostel at Ramban, construction of office-cum-Laboratory Building in Divisional office of Pollution Control Committee at Maitra, Ramban, Development of Tulip Garden at Sanasar, and Development of Rani Talab at Batote, Winter preparedness.
Briefing about Phase-I, II and III of PMGSY Ramban, the Executive Engineer PMGSY informed that out of total 73 sanctioned projects including bridges, 48 projects have been completed, while work on the rest of the projects is going on in full swing.
The Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Division Banihal also apprised the meeting about progress on road and other infrastructural projects being executed under PWD and PMGSY sectors.

VBS Yatra completes its journey across 151 Panchayats of Udhampur distt
Udhampur : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has concluded its journey, covering 151 out of the 236 panchayats and 17 Blocks in Udhampur District.
Spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, the campaign utilized the Viksit Bharat Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van, traversing the district.
Additional 12 panchayats were visited on Tuesday, garnering a warm reception from residents and PRI members. Various cultural events were organized upon the arrival of the vans, showcasing enthusiastic public support for the flagship initiative.

VBS Yatra gains momentum in Ramban district, visits 97 Panchayats so far
Ramban : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) visited four Panchayats of block Batote amid huge public participation to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes across the district.
IEC Vans accorded a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents on its arrival in four Panchayats under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and engaged with knowledge enriching audio-video material screened on screening system and special IEC Vans.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign witnessed enthusiastic and vibrant participation of all stakeholders in Panchayat Rakhjarog, Thopal, Barron Batote and Chakwa in district Ramban. Started on November 28, the Yatra has gained further momentum across Ramban by covering 97 Panchayats of the district.
The people from all walks of life participated in various activities held under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in their respective panchayats with the aim to saturate the Centrally Sponsored Schemes by reaching out to the people at their door steps. They listened attentively to recorded video messages of the Prime Minister, emphasizing the significance of the campaign.
DDC, Jagbir Dass, BDO, Batote, Kavita Bandhral and various other officers participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in different panchayats of block Batote.
Pertinently, the Yatra aims to reach out to the unreached population, making them aware of various Government schemes such as Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Saman Yojana, Jeevan Joti Bima Yojana, along with the process to avail benefits.
During the day, Health camps were organized to provide Medical checkup and distribution of free medicines, administered Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat pledges to participants, set up of stalls by various departments besides sensitizing the people about their schemes, sports events and cultural programmes were organized and people were also sensitized about importance of vote in democracy by the Election Department.

VBS Yatra: Govt services, health facilities attract public at Marh
Jammu : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, an initiative to disseminate and engage with MyGov Activities and Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat, reached Block Marh on Tuesday, where it was welcomed by BMO Marh, Dr Jyoti Bhau, PRI members and villagers.
The yatra’s IEC van traversed village Parwah, where it displayed audio-visual messages on the achievements and welfare schemes of the Government, such as Ayushman Bharat, PM-KISAN, PMAY, Ujjwala, Jal Jeevan Mission, etc.
The villagers were also informed about the benefits of the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) cards, which provide free access to health care services.
As many as 55 people were screened for non communicable diseases, 5 for tuberculosis, while 25 were tested for haemoglobin. Likewise, 18 ABHA IDs were generated and 75 ABHA cards were distributed.
The villagers expressed gratitude to the yatra team and the government for bringing such awareness and health services to their doorstep. They also pledged to support the vision of Viksit Bharat and participate in the MyGov Activities and Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat.
The yatra will continue to cover more villages and blocks in the coming days, spreading the message of development and empowerment.

VBS Yatra Urban commences from Batote
Ramban : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) Urban, a nationwide campaign to spread awareness about the various developmental schemes and initiatives of the Government of India, commenced from Batote in Ramban district, here on Tuesday.
BDC Chairman, Batote, Rajeshwar Bhagat, DDC Batote, Jagvir Dass, and Tehsildar Batote, Vijay Kumar Sharma welcomed the IEC Van in Batote.
A grand rally of locals, officers and officials from various departments and students was also organized which passed through the main Bazaar and culminated at Dak Bunglow Batote.
While addressing the gathering Tehsildar Batote, highlighted the achievements and benefits of the various flagship schemes of the Government of India towards the ultimate goal of Vikshit Bharat.
On the first day, a large number of people joined the yatra which focused on attaining saturation of the government’s flagship schemes.
The focus of the Yatra was to reach out to the people, create awareness and provide benefits of welfare schemes like sanitation facilities, essential financial services, electricity connections, access to LPG cylinders, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, clean drinking water, etc.
As part of the yatra, various government departments set up stalls to provide citizens on the spot services like free health checkup facilities, distribution of Plant Saplings by the Forest Department, awareness regarding Agricultural & Horticulture related Schemes and loans under PM SVANidhi. Scores of people benefitted from these camps during the period. During the programme, participants took the Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge to make India a developed and self-reliant nation by the year 2047.
Videos of beneficiaries of various departmental schemes under Meri Kahani Meri Zubani were also played and Cultural Programmes organized along with online Quiz.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15, 2023 from Jharkhand. The yatra will cover over 2.55 lakh Gram Panchayats and over 3,600 urban local bodies by January 25, 2024, touching every district of the country.
Among others, District Nodal Officer I&B, Khursheed Yousuf, along with officers from various departments attended the day-long event.

Kishtwar : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van on Tuesday traversed its journey through 02 more Panchayts Kuchal A and Kuchhal B of Block Mughal Maidan of district Kishtwar.
On the third day in the block Mughal Maidan, the overwhelming community response underscored its significance as the Yatra received invaluable support from PRIs, including DDC and BDC members, Sarpanches, Panches,Block Level officers , and other field functionaries, contributing significantly to its smooth execution.
Central to the Yatra’s success was the IEC Van, disseminating the Prime Minister’s message on Centrally Sponsored Schemes and their effective implementation. ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ provided a platform for beneficiaries to share their experiences, enriching the Yatra’s essence.
A total of 14 events were conducted, while people were educated about 19 rural schemes, while as many as 814 individuals took part in the Viksit Bahrat pledge. The cultural program under “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke” component enthralled the audience .
Health camps were held at both the Panchayats catering to the community’s health needs at their doorstep. As many as 44 individuals were screened for TB, 14 for Sickle Cell, while 88 participants were screened for Non Communicable Diseases.
Yatra facilitated seamless saturation of different schemes including Ayushman Bharat Scheme,Jan Dhan, ODF, Digitisation of land Records , PM Kissanetc.
On the occasion 17 Ayushman golden Cards and 04 KCC cards were distributed among the beneficiaries, while 07 individuals were enrolled under the PM Ujjwala scheme.

DC reviews Implementation of PM Vishwakarma Scheme in Udhampur
Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner, Saloni Rai on Tuesday chaired a meeting here in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex road to evaluate the progress of the PM Vishwakarma scheme in the district.
At the outset, GM DIC Pankaj Anand provided a comprehensive overview of the scheme, outlining its objectives and detailing the district’s progress.
Highlighting the need for concerted efforts, the DC urged officers to promptly identify and register targeted beneficiaries. Emphasizing the scheme’s significance in uplifting traditional artisans and craftspeople, she instructed officers to conduct Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign with the support of PRIs to raise awareness among the people.
