Distt Admin Samba organises Block Diwas at Panchayat Daghore

Samba : The district administration Samba on Wednesday organized a Block Diwas event at Panchayat Daghore, Block Nud.
The event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma and attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Samba, Rajinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner Development Samba, Sidharth Dhiman, District Development Council member, Pratap Chand, Sarpanch Dagore, Mukhtiyar and other district officers.
The Block Diwas event served as a platform for the local community to voice their concerns and engage in meaningful dialogue with the district administration. The discussions primarily focused on crucial aspects of development and infrastructure, demonstrating the collective dedication towards progress.
Deputy Commissioner reviewed the action taken on the issues raised during previous Block Diwas events and directed the concerned officers to expedite the work within the specified timelines. He expressed his appreciation for the feedback and suggestions received from the locals and assured them of prompt resolution to their grievances.
During the event, various important issues were identified and resolved on the spot. These included road connectivity and the construction of a culvert, with Deputy Commissioner Samba instructing the Executive Engineer of Public Works Department to ensure the timely completion of the work while maintaining high quality standards. The demand for a Revenue official to be stationed in the area was also met, garnering appreciation from the locals.
Concerns regarding power supply were addressed, and the Executive Engineer of Power Development Department received instructions to rectify the issues and ensure regular and uninterrupted electricity for consumers. In the field of education, Deputy Commissioner Samba directed the Chief Education Officer to take necessary action to address the shortage of teachers in Government School Daghore.
The DC informed the locals about the High Altitude Development Programme (HADP) and highlighted the crops suitable for cultivation in the kandi belt. He encouraged the farmers to utilize the Daksh Kisan portal, which provides information on various schemes and benefits for the agricultural community.
In addition to the Block Diwas event, Panchayat Dagore also witnessed the impactful Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. This government initiative aims to reach the beneficiaries of flagship schemes and various government programs. The yatra showcased the achievements and milestones accomplished by the government in sectors such as health, education, sanitation, and rural development.
The Block Diwas event was a successful and fruitful exercise, serving as a testament to the commitment and cooperation between the district administration and the local community in driving the development and welfare of the region.
