VBS Yatra reaches Doongi and Pangrain Blocks of Rajouri Distt

Rajouri : Viksit Bharat Yatra on Tuesday reached the Doongi and Pangrain blocks of Rajouri district. The 72-day outreach and awareness campaign, aims to promote government schemes and ensure the saturation of flagship programs, is designed to bring the benefits of these schemes to all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
The people from different panchayats including Tunditrar, Pallulian, Thandikassi, Pangrain Lower- A, Pangrain Lower-B, Pangrain Upper-A, Pangrain Upper-B of block Pangrain and Narian Parli, Sangpur, Sangpur Narian West, Dogani, Chingus, Loorkote, Agrati South, Agrati North and Dhanwan of Doongi block participated with tremendous enthusiasm in the event.
Through this initiative, the government intends to disseminate crucial information and foster awareness about these schemes, ensuring that no deserving individual or community is left behind.
One of the key aspects of the Yatra is the establishment of direct interaction between the government and beneficiaries. By sharing personal stories and experiences, the program creates a platform for individuals to voice their needs, concerns and aspirations. This two-way communication not only deepens the understanding of the Government of the ground realities but also allows for the identification and enrollment of potential beneficiaries based on the information ascertained during the Yatra.
The Viksit Bharat Yatra places specific focus on a range of schemes aimed at both urban and rural areas. In urban areas, the following schemes have been highlighted: PM Svanidhi, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PM Mudra Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Start-up India/Stand-up India, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana (Urban), SBM (Urban), PM eBus Sewa, AMRUT, PM Bhartiya Jan Aushadi Pariyojana, Ujjala Yojana, Subhagya Yojana, Digital Payment Infrastructure, Khelo India, RCS:UDAN, Vande Bharat Trains, and Amrit Bharat Station scheme. In rural areas, the focus is on schemes such as Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, PMGKAY, DAY-NRLM, PM Awas Yojana Rural, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman, PM Vishwakarma, KCC, PM Poshan Abhiyan, JJM, and SVAMITVA.
The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ stands as a resolute testament to the commitment of the Government to constructing a prosperous and equitable India. By championing government schemes, fostering awareness, and engaging directly with beneficiaries, the Yatra aspires to instigate positive change at the grassroots level, paving the way for an inclusive and developed nation.
As this Yatra unfurls its journey across the nation, it is poised to touch the lives of millions, ensuring their access to essential services, financial assistance, healthcare, housing, and more. The resounding participation of the public with unwavering enthusiasm exemplifies the collective commitment to building a brighter and more prosperous future for all, as envisioned by the Government.
Among the others, Block Development Officer Doongi, Mohd Nawaz; Block Development Officer Pangrain, Sayela Mir; Sarpanches, Panches and public in large numbers attended the event.
