Shopian : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was on Monday conducted at six Panchayats of Kaprin and Imamsahib blocks amid overwhelming public participation.
Two Panchayats of Mantribugh, Partabpora of Kaprin block and four Panchayats, Barbugh, Baskuchan, Dangerpora, Hendow of Imamsahib blocks attracted massive public participation
Aimed at empowering all communities by ensuring the effective implementation of key government initiatives, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Vans traversed through panchayats fostering community engagement and disseminating awareness of Govt schemes and initiatives and to serve the underserved areas.
The yatra was warmly welcomed and received by PRIs, senior citizens, officials and local residents. They were engaged with Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) setups and listened attentively to a recorded video message, emphasizing the significance of the campaign.
Participants also took the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge, affirming their commitment to holistic national development.
Under the banner of VBSY, students showcased their artistic talents through mesmerizing cultural performances; dance and music reflected the diversity and richness of the cultural heritage, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among the spectators. The sports events on VBSY occasion attracted the audience and their cheers and applause echoed the success of these sporting endeavors.
