Ramban : District Election Department on Friday organized a one day training – cum – coordination workshop for BLOs and BLAs here under the aegis of Special Summary Revision, 2023 with the objective to compile an error-free electoral roll with special focus on inclusion of new eligible voters, who are going to attain the voting age of 18 years on 1st of January 2024.
Presiding over the function, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Giasul-Haq, who is also the AERO, AC-54 said that the joint training session for BLOs and BLAs has been organized to bridge the gap between the electoral machinery and political parties in preparing error free Photo Electoral Roll.
Stressing on inclusion of every eligible voter in the Electoral Roll, the ACR asked them to work dedicatedly.
During the interaction session, the BLOs and BLAs raised various queries and master trainers and resource persons cleared their doubts on- the-spot, besides providing them relevant forms and handholding.
