Day-6: VBSY held in 10 Panchayats of Block Pahloo, Kund of Kulgam

Kulgam : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continued on Sixth day on Thursday in the district, as the IEC campaign was held in 10 more panchayats of Kund and Pahloo blocks of the district.
People thronged the venues of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (campaign) in Panchayat Halqas catering Arigatnoo, Chambagund, Chitapur, Gudder, Laisoo and other villages witnessing enthusiastic and vibrant participation of stakeholders.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Government’s flagship schemes began in the district on 25 November from D.K.Marg block.
The Yatra is showcasing the positive impact with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM PRANAM, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Aushadhi, Khelo India, sharing their first-hand experiences in various panchayats in district Kulgam.
During the yatra, drone demos are also being conducted in various places as part of the yatra showcasing the effective use of technology to enhance agricultural productivity.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has emerged as a powerful tool for bridging the gap between the Government and its citizens, ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach those who need them most.
During the yatra, Officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interact and motivate them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare based schemes besides ensuring saturation of flagship schemes of the government.
Welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had installed stalls. IEC Vans were pressed into service also.
Block officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students and locals participated in large numbers in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in aforesaid panchayats.
