Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held across 8 Panchayats of Reasi district amid massive public participation

Reasi : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was organised on Wednesday here in eight Panchayats of the Reasi district.
The campaign was organized at Arbais, Neoch, Bharakh, Gajore, Hutt, Akhli Bhuttan, Kanthan, Kanthan A of Reasi district.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Van reached Akhli Bhuttan panchayat of the district, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The Yatra, aimed at fostering community engagement and disseminating awareness regarding myriads of government schemes and initiatives and to serve the underserved areas, was warmly welcomed and received by PRIs, Senior Citizens, Officials and local residents of the respective Pyts.
Amidst the Yatra’s activities, participants were captivated by a recorded video message from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the profound significance of this campaign. This was followed by individuals affirming their commitment to holistic national development by taking the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge.
The Yatra is a significant step towards the achievement of universal coverage of eligible people under different schemes.
The activities like Meri Zubaani, Meri Kahani, on spot quiz, cultural performance “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke “Swachata Song by women SHG members and school students, session of Satat Krishi Activities- Drone Demonstration, interaction with progressive Farmers on Natural Farming and soil health cards.
Heads of the departments briefed the participants about various beneficiary oriented schemes of their respective departments and highlighted government programmes and schemes especially PMJAY, JJM, Insurance and Social Security Schemes and other employment and welfare based schemes.
The cultural fabric of the nation was beautifully showcased by students, exhibiting their artistic talents through enchanting performances. Dance and music performances reflected the diversity and richness of our cultural heritage, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among the spectators.
Simultaneously, sports events added an electrifying dimension to the Yatra. Athletes showcased their skills and sportsmanship, transforming the Yatra into a dynamic arena of friendly competition and athleticism. The resounding cheers and applause from the audience echoed the success of these sporting endeavors.
