Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra receives overwhelming response in border blocks of Kupwara

Kupwara : As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a series of impactful awareness camps were conducted across various panchayats of border blocks in district Kupwara to sensitize the citizens about availing benefits under different Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a community-centric initiative which aims to foster growth and awareness regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, received an overwhelming response from the local populace since its launch on 21st November in the district.
The VBSY campaign was Saturday conducted in various Panchayats of border blocks of Tangdar, Keran and Machil which include Mundian, Mundian-A, Pathroo, Chuntiwari-A, Chuntiwari-B, Dappal, Dudi, HardRing-A, HardRing-B, Katwara, Pushwari, Baghbella, Dildar-A, Dildar-B, Gomal, Hajinard and Kandi Bala. During the campaign, the line Departments had installed their stalls at the venues to showcase achievements made under different centrally sponsored schemes and cover the left out people under these schemes.
In Tangdar block, SDM Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather presided over the proceedings of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign at Gomal Panchayat during which officers and field functionaries from line departments provided detailed awareness to the participants about different citizen centric schemes of the Government.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge was also administered by the SDM to all the participants who pledged for the overall development of the Nation.
On the occasion, PRIs, locals, prominent citizens, beneficiaries, and youth including students attended the programme.
Similarly, colourful activities were held under the VBSY in various panchayats of block Machill and Keran.
Tehsildar Machill presided over the Viksit Bharat function at Government High School Dapal during which he interacted with the beneficiaries and got feedback about achievements made under different Government schemes.
During the Yatra campaign, several schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana and Urea Subsidy Scheme were showcased.
Meanwhile, the people in large numbers took part in these programmes with much enthusiasm and fervor.
