Distt Prabhari Officer Tiwari reviews preparations for VBSY at Kupwara

Kupwara: District Prabhari Officer, Dr. Rajiv Kumar Tiwari on Tuesday visited Kupwara district and convened a meeting of District Officers to review the preparations for conduct of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan; ADDC, Altaf Ahmad Khan, ADC Handwara, ADC Kupwara, JD Planning, PO ICDS and other district officers attended the meeting.
On the occasion, the DC briefed the chair through a detailed powerpoint presentation about the plan for implementation of VBS Yatra in the district. She informed that the District Administration Kupwara is geared up to conduct VBS Yatra in a hassle free and seamless manner in all 385 Panchayats and 39 Municipal Wards of the district.
The District Prabhari Officer got detailed feedback from the concerned district officers about their role and plan for the implementation of the VBS Yatra. He impressed upon all the concerned officers to ensure utmost coordination at different levels for the smooth & successful conduct of the activities under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the district. He asked them to ensure putting in place a plan of activities to be conducted on the next day during the Yatra campaign, well in advance.
The Prabhari Officer asked the Police department to ensure proper security arrangements for the IEC Vans going across the Panchayats. He asked the JD Planning to ensure close monitoring of uploading of VBSY activities at the district level.
Regarding the Route Plan of IEC Vans, the District Prabhari Officer directed the ARTO Kupwara to ensure timely arrival and departure of the IEC Vans at the designated venues besides sharing of reports about IEC vans on a daily basis with the District Administration.
