DC reviews preparations for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in District Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav on Thursday chaired a review meeting with the stakeholder departments and asked them to gear up for making foolproof arrangements for the upcoming Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure maximum public participation, particularly youth in Yatra which aim to raise awareness about the Government’s achievements and extend benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes among beneficiaries.
It was informed that 3 Digital Vans will traverse all Panchayats delivering the Prime Minister’s message and hosting promotional events.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner also scrutinized the comprehensive schedule to cover all blocks and urban areas, with Nodal Officers assigned specific duties for a smooth yatra passage.
During the meeting, the DC stressed the importance of flagship schemes and underlined the need for effective projection of the same to maximize their impact.
Directing to set up a control room at district headquarters, the DC also constituted a team at district level. The Sub Division Magistrates and Tehsildars will head the committees at respective Sub Division and Tehsil levels. He further directed officers to prepare action plans for their departments and stay informed about the schemes, latest data of beneficiaries and scheme coverage.
The DC directed the block level officers to coordinate the arrangements for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, besides organizing training sessions for the officers and resource persons of line departments.
Meanwhile, police administration was asked to ensure security arrangements during the Yatra.
17 prominent schemes slated for promotion include PM Vishwakarma, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Mudra Loan, PMEGP, Mumkin, Poshan Abhiyan, Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, PM Awas Yojana (Rural), PM Kisan Saman, Kisan Credit Card, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Har Ghar Jal – Jal Jeevan Mission, etc.
DC Kishtwar also stressed upon the concerned departments to coordinate with the DI&PR centre Kishtwar for the making of IEC material including the engaging videos in this regard.
Among others, ADC Kishtwar Inderjeet Singh Parihar, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, DPO ICDS Dr Rishi Kumar Sharma, ASP Kishtwar Rajinder Singh, ACP Kishtwar Zakir Hussain Wani, ACD Kishtwar Manoj Kumar, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, BDOs and other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
