2 militants killed in ongoing operation along LoC in Uri

Baramulla: Two militants were killed in an ongoing joint operation along Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday while the officials said that the operation is still underway.
An official said that a group of militants were neutralized, who were trying to sneak into this side of the LoC, taking advantage of low visibility and bad weather.
He said that the alert forces deployed on the LoC challenged the militants, and during the operation two unidentified militants were killed, adding that incriminating material, arms and ammunition was recovered.
The operation is still underway, the official added.
“Two Infiltrating militants neutralized by vigilant forces. Recovered incriminating materials, arms and ammunition. Extensive search operations are on”, Police wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
