DC, DG Floriculture listen to people’s issues

Poonch : The Back to Village Five (B2V5) programme was conducted successfully in Panchayat Shiendra Lower of Block Lassana, District Poonch where S. Jatinder Singh, Director General Floriculture Parks and Gardens visited as the Prabhari Officer.
Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat Wajahat Bhukhari along with all the Panches and I/c Sec Pyt Vinamar Sharma members, Frontline Workers Officers/Officials of the different Department & a huge number of locals participated in the two day activities of B2V5.
During the programme Parbhari Officer highlighted the major demands of the Panchayat projected in past years, their redressal. He also listened to the current demands projected by PRIs members & Local people of thePanchayat.
The Prabhari Officer reviewed the implementation of Government Schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, MGNREGA, 14th FC PMJJY, PMSBY, APY & PMJDY, PMAY, Aapki Zameen Apki Nigrani, Pension Schemes of Social Welfare, Fasal Beema Yojana, Cattle Insurance, development of Amrit Sarovars, assets under ODF Plus etc. He stressed upon the people of the Panchayat to utilize all the 1075 online services launched by the Government to avail the benefits of all the schemes.
Meanwhile, District Development Commissioner Poonch Mohammad Yasin Choudhary, along with the Prabhari Officer conducted a grievance redressal camp the Government Higher Secondary School Shiendra, where a large number of people of the Panchayat were present.
Several local beneficiaries were provided seeds through the Agriculture Department, besides Land Pass books prepared by the Revenue Department were also distributed among the beneficiaries of the Panchayat by the District Development Commissioner and the Prabhari Officer.
A Yoga session was also held for the students where prominent citizens of the Gram Panchayat were present. A friendly Volleyball match was also organized in the school for the students. Prizes were also given to the students who participated in different activities and award winning students were felicitated by Prabhari Officer and District Development Commissioner Poonch.
A plantation drive was also conducted in the premises of GHSS Shiendra where different plants were provided by the Forest Department.
Stress was laid on spreading public awareness about the government initiatives towards corruption free and Nasha Mukti Society. The Nasha Mukt Pledge was also taken by the students administered by the District Development Commissioner Poonch.
The Prabhari Officer along with the Sarpanch, Panches and PRI Members also paid a visit to the PHC, FPS, AW Centres, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Centres and Educational Institutions. Panchayat Assetslike Community Compost Pitwere inaugurated & Foundation Stone of many new assets like Amrit Sarovar and Link Road from Jabra to Thandi Kassi, were laid down by Prabhari Officer.
The Prabhari Officer also stressed upon different Departments to achieve 100% saturation level in the implementation of beneficiary oriented schemes of the Government to benefit all the eligible persons. It was informed that all the departments have switched over to the online mode as per directions of the Government and saturation level has been achieved in Kissan Credit Cards, Soil Health Cards, Job Cards, Abha Cards, Land Pass Books, Disability Cards, (UDID) etc. in the Panchayat.
The Prabhari/Visiting Officer also advised all Frontline workers to be readily available to the public and work with dedication for the benefit & welfare of the public of the area. He also stressed to comply with the directions of the Government in letter and spirit.
