Srinagar: A biker lost his life and two pillion riders sustained injuries in a road accident in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Local sources said that an accident took place in Saidpora bypass area in Sopore town when a bike rammed into an electric pole resulting in serious injuries to the bike rider and two other pillion riders.
The trio were rushed to sub-district hospital Sopore, where one of them identified as Danish Ahmad, a resident of Janwara area succumbed to his injuries.
The other two injured Aqib Ahmad and Tawheed Ahmad, also the residents of Janwara village are being treated in the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in the incident.
