Ramban: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary on Saturday asked the stakeholder departments to gear up for making foolproof arrangements for the upcoming Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Mohita Sharma was also present in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure maximum public participation, particularly youth in Yatra which aim to raise awareness about the Government’s achievements and extend benefits of Centrally Sponsored Schemes among beneficiaries.
It was informed that a Digital Van will traverse all Panchayats delivering the Prime Minister’s message and hosting promotional events. The district administration will prepare a comprehensive schedule to cover all blocks and urban areas, with Nodal Officers assigned specific duties for a smooth yatra passage, the meeting was informed.
During the meeting, the DC stressed the importance of flagship schemes and underlined the need for effective projection of the same to maximize their impact.
Directing to set up a control room at district headquarters, the DC also constituted a team headed by the ADDC composed of ADC and other senior officers at district level. The Sub Division Magistrates and Tehsildars will head the committees at respective Sub Division and Tehsil levels. He further directed officers to prepare action plans for their departments and stay informed about the schemes, latest data of beneficiaries and scheme coverage.
The DC directed ADDC to depute senior officers in blocks to coordinate the arrangements for Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra, besides organizing training sessions for the officers and resource persons of line departments.
Meanwhile, SSP suggested that the family members of the Martyrs would be honoured during the SankalpYatra, ensuring that they are getting benefits of the schemes meant for them and for which they are eligible.
Prominent schemes slated for promotion include PM Vishwakarma, PM UjjwalaYojana, PM Mudra Loan, PMEGP, Mumkin, PoshanAbhiyan, Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, PM GaribKalyan Anna Yojana, DeendayalAntyodayaYojana, PM AwasYojana (Rural), PM KisanSaman, Kisan Credit Card, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, HarGharJal – JalJeevan Mission, etc.
Among others, ADDC, Rajinder Sharma, PO ICDS, JehangirHashmi, ADC Harbans Sharma, ACR GiasulHaq, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Dy.DEO, ACD, Chief Planning Officer, and other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
