Agricultural Research Centre soon in Kishtwar: Sunil Sharma

Kishtwar/Oct,5: Minister of State for Transport and Public Works, Sunil Sharma Friday visited Bhatan village of Tehsil Nagseni  to be developed under Adarsh Gram Yojna and took  review of  the developmental work there. He also held a grivience redressal camp to take stock of the problems of the people.

The Minister was accompanied by DDC, Angrez Singh Rana, SSP, Abrar Chowdhary besides all other district and sectoral officers.

During the camp, public of the village Bhatan raised issues regarding improvement of road network and condition of the area, Macdamisation of Bhatna (Nagsani) road, maintenance of school buildings, Panchyats, installation of mobile tower for the Panchyat.

The people further demanded the upgradation of the existing 10 bedded hospital, road connectivity for Tallan (Darshalla) village, up gradation of Dardhalla school, argumentation of water and electricity infrastructure, compensation to the land donors for the road construction.

Issues pertaining to issuance of ration card in BPL category, toilets were also raised by the public.

​​While speaking on the occasion the Minister announced establishment of Agricultural Research Centre for the area, besides informed that three projects are in the pipe line to be started in the district, Keru Kwar being one of them which is going to start very soon and these projects shall open avenues for job opportunity to the people of the area.

He further said under “Sobhagya scheme” which has been launched by the Government recently, electrification shall be provided to every single village in the district. He said improvement work on the road shall be started very soon.

Sunil Sharma announced one bus service and one forest hut along with banking facilities for the village. Minister also said 234 houses in the village will be covered for construction  of toilets in the Adarsh Gram Youjna scheme.

DDC, Angrez Singh Rana acting upon peoples’ demands and grievances said district administration will look into the issues  and  concrete effort shall be made in providing door step facilities to the people in time bound manner. He ordered for immediate suspension of VLW and Patwari of Panchayat Bhatan for dereliction of duties.
