ADDC Kishtwar reviews performance of banks at DLRC meeting for Quarter Ending June 2023

Emphasis on Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyan; Full saturation of PM Kissan , Social Security Schemes under Jan Suraksha Abhiyan

Kishtwar: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lalon Tuesday presided over a comprehensive review meeting to review performance of banks and line departments for the Quarter Ending June 2023.
The meeting was marked by a strong emphasis on the “GharGhar KCC Abhiyan,” which seeks to ensure the comprehensive coverage of PM Kissan Beneficiaries and the inclusion of individuals under Social Security Schemes as part of the “Jan SurakshaAbhiyan.”
Key highlights of the meeting also included focus on saturation of the PM Kissan program and ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries are covered under the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Crop. Closer coordination among various line departments and banks was strongly encouraged.
Besides an In-depth discussion on the progress made under the Jan SurakshaAbhiyan, with a specific emphasis on maximizing the reach of schemes such as PMSBY (PradhanMantriSurakshaBimaYojana), PMJJBY (PradhanMantriJeevanJyotiBimaYojana), and APY (Atal Pension Yojana). Bankers were directed to work diligently to achieve the saturation of eligible beneficiaries.
The meeting concluded with a call for a mass campaign to raise awareness about these schemes, in conjunction with proper sensitization efforts during the ongoing B2V5 Jan Abhiyan.
The meeting witnessed the active participation of several key stakeholders, including the Lead District Manager (LDM), Kishtwar, representatives from NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), various line departments, and bank officials.
The District Administration remains committed to the welfare of the people and the effective implementation of government schemes, as demonstrated during this insightful DLRC review meeting.
