Baramulla: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Thursday convened a meeting of all concerned officers to discuss the determination of amount payable as compensation for the land owners acquired for Baramulla and Pattan By-pass besides issues related to construction of the National Highway from Narbal to Baramulla and Baramulla to Uri.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held regarding construction of the National Highway during which the chair was informed that the acquired state land has been handed over to BEACON authorities for construction work. It was also given out that the acquired property land for which the disbursement process has already been completed be handed over to the concerned authorities for carrying out other process.
With regard to the Baramulla and Pattan By-pass, comprehensive discussion was held to determine the amount payable as compensation for the land owners acquired for Baramulla and Pattan By-pass
Meanwhile, DrSehrish directed the concerned executing agencies to expedite the work on the project besides removing all the bottlenecks hampering the progress of work so as to complete the project within the stipulated time frame.
Among others Additional Deputy Commissioner BaramullaDrZahoor Ahmad Raina, SDM Pattan, SDM Gulmarg, OC Beacon, Tehsildars and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
