Kupwara: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Monday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress under JalJeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.
District Superintending Engineer, Mohammad Saleem Malik apprised the chair about work wise progress achieved under JJM in the district.
On the occasion, the DDC said that JJM is a flagship scheme and stressed upon the officers of line departments to cooperate with the PHE department while execution of different schemes by it.
The DDC asked engineers of the PHE department to flag the issues in proper time with proper quarters and prioritize the payments of restoration of other department’s works.
On the occasion, SE stressed upon the engineers of PHE department to ensure minimum damage to the infrastructure of other departments while laying the pipelines for different schemes
Among others, JD Planning, Executive Engineers of PHE, Executive Engineers R&B, Executive Engineer PMGSY, OC Beacon, Range Officers, Kehmil, Kamraj and Langate forest Divisions, AEEs and other concerned were present in the meeting.
