Before thinking about the nurturing of the talent of the children it is imperative for the people to think about their childhood which should not start from a preparatory or a nursery school but from their homes where the children grow under the influence of the parents. Absolutely bad trend it is that children now a days instead of growing in family atmosphere find themselves growing in a pre-primary preparatory school where teachers mostly engage them with the books and less with extracurricular activities. So this bad trend has virtually snatched the love of mother from the children in their very first phase of childhood and as such is by all standards of human understandabilities virtually a child abuse. While the people themselves are to be blamed for developing this bad trend of child abuse among themselves, the Government too can’t take lame excuses in defending it’s quiescent approach towards this worst form of increasing child abuse in Jammu & Kashmir like many states and union territories of the country. Though Jammu & Kashmir Government can defend it’s quiescent approach towards the abuse of childhood in pre-primary preparatory schools in Jammu & Kashmir with the argument that since Governments in other states and union territories of the country allow the parents to send their wards to pre-primary preparatory schools it won’t also use institutional and administrative pressures to stop such a bad practice but it is also a fact that a wrong committed by the majority does not give a license to others to allow such wrongs to occur and re-occur again and again.

“Stopping the bad practice of child abuse in pre-preparatory schools by Jammu & Kashmir Government could inspire Governments of other states and union territories to shun the practices of pre-primary preparatory schooling with the spirit of the protection of the basic childhood rights of the children in the states and union territories of their own jurisdictions. Pre-preparatory schools of Jammu & Kashmir if asked to discontinue the practice of pre-preparatory schools would by all standards of understandabilities end the growing menace of a virtual childhood abuse in Jammu & Kashmir”.

Morality demands that wrongs committed to exploit people on the basis of gender, age , religion or caste by one or a group of schools are undone by the Government in the spirits of the respect for the basic humanitarian laws which need no constitutional, administrative and legal endorsement. Compromising childhood of children if at all practiced by the people themselves is bad in eyes of the universal humanitarian law and as such needs to be stopped and forthwith with the basic spirits of the protection of childhood of children in Jammu & Kashmir. Stopping the bad practice of child abuse in pre-preparatory schools by Jammu & Kashmir Government could inspire Governments of other states and union territories to shun the practices of pre-primary preparatory schooling with the spirit of the protection of the basic childhood rights of the children in the states and union territories of their own jurisdictions. Pre-preparatory schools of Jammu & Kashmir if asked to discontinue the practice of pre-preparatory schools would by all standards of understandabilities end the growing menace of a virtual childhood abuse in Jammu & Kashmir.
