Police facilitates meeting with families of police martyrs in Srinagar, Distributes gift items among the families

Srinagar: Police in Srinagar under Police Flag Day Week-2023 facilitated an interaction meeting with the families of police martyrs and distributed gift items among the families of martyrs who laid their lives in the service of nation at DPL Srinagar.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters, Srinagar on the occasion, SSP Srinagar Ashish Kumar Mishra, SP Hqrs Srinagar Arif Amin Shah, DySP DAR Srinagar Nisar Ahmad Khoja and other officers were present. The meeting was attended by appreciable number of NOKs of police martyrs of District Srinagar.
Police in its statement said that the said meeting was organised to take stock of the welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
While interacting with the NOKs of Police Martyrs, SSP Srinagar assured enduring support and co-operation from the J&K Police fraternity, particularly District Police Srinagar. Moreover, SSP Srinagar paid rich tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives valiantly in the service of the nation. He also informed the participants about various welfare measures that are being taken by J&K Police for the welfare of NOKs.
