DH Kishtwar ranks second among top performing Distt Hospitals in J&K

Remarkable Rise from 19th to 2nd Position Acknowledged

Kishtwar: District Hospital Kishtwar has achieved a significant milestone by securing the second position among the top five performing District Hospitals in Jammu and Kashmir, according to the ranking of health facilities and best-performing districts released by the National Health Mission J&K.
In the remarkable feat reflecting the determination and teamwork, the District Hospital Kishtwar has swiftly climbed from the 19th position to an impressive 2nd position. This achievement stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the hospital’s staff and medicos, alongside the Health Department Kishtwar.
Their relentless efforts have not only transformed healthcare in the region but have also demonstrated the potential for substantial progress in a short span of time. The remarkable rise of the hospital underscores the vital role that hard work and dedication play in improving the healthcare infrastructure for the benefit of the community.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kishtwar, Dr. Yudveer Singh, while expressing his gratitude and highlighting the collaborative efforts of the Health Department and district administration.
These efforts have led to different initiatives aimed at enhancing and upgrading health facilities in the district hospital including QR code-based OPD registration services, launched in the hospital for the ease of patients.
Furthermore, substantial improvements have been made to the hospital’s infrastructure in recent times besides ensuring better healthcare delivery including the introduction of tele-consultation services to cater to remote areas like Kuntwara etc.
Dr. Yudveer Singh commended the people of Kishtwar and encouraged patients and the community to continue their cooperation with the District Hospital authorities to achieve even better outcomes.
Dr. M. Y. Mir, Chief Medical Officer, Kishtwar, expressed his joy and appreciation for the joint efforts of the medical staff of the District Hospital Kishtwar, whose dedication contributed to this accomplishment.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Kishtwar and the dedicated staff and authorities of District Hospital Kishtwar and the Health Department Kishtwar.
This recognition reaffirms Kishtwar’s commitment to provide quality healthcare services to its residents and stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work of all involved parties.
