DC presides over Weekly Block Diwas at Dradhu- Bhaderwah

DC Urges people to participate in UT Foundation,Ekta Diwas celebrations

Doda: Deputy Commissioner Doda, VisheshMahajanon Wednesday presided over the Weekly Block Diwas meeting held at Community Hall Dradhu, Bhaderwah.
The initiative aimed to provide a platform enabling people to have a direct interaction with the district administration regarding their grievances and ensure the timely delivery of public services.
Similar programs under Block Diwas initiative were held at PanchayatGandoh, Tehsil and Sub Division Gandoh; PanchayatRanka, Sub Division Assar and PatwarKhanaKandote, Prem Nagar, Sub Division Thathri.
The DC, along with ADC Bhaderwah, ChowdharyDil Mir and a team of officers from different departments listened to the issues put forth by the people and provided prompt solutions.
BDC Chairperson Bhaderwah Omi Chand, DDC Councillor Thakur Yudhvir Singh, Sarpanches, Panches and a large gathering of people attended the Block Diwas.
During the interaction with the locals, the DC listened to their grievances and took note of the major concerns. He assured the people of the administration’s dedication in resolving these issues and directed the officials to take immediate action.
The DC reaffirmed the commitment of the government to address the challenges faced by the residents and ensure the welfare of the public. He emphasized the importance of efficient governance and urged the officials to work diligently for delivering public services and implementing developmental projects.
The DC informed that cleaning of NeruNallah has been taken up and shall be completed in due course of time. He further informed that to celebrate unprecedented development in the J&K, EiktaDiwas and UT Foundation Day is being organised in every Panchayat of the district and urged the public to celebrate it with enthusiasm and festivity.
The DC and his team of officers also apprised the residents of the various ongoing development projects in the district, highlighting their significance in improving the public amenities. He further urged the residents to actively participate in the development initiatives, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in shaping a better future for Doda.
The DC commended the active participation of the residents and appreciated their constructive feedback. He called upon the people to continue their cooperation and support in the development efforts undertaken by the government for the betterment of Doda.
The Weekly Block Diwas concluded on a positive note, with the DC VisheshMahajan expressing his gratitude to the residents for their enthusiastic participation. He reiterated the commitment of the administration to fulfilling the aspirations of the people and ensuring a progressive and inclusive development in the district.
