Kupwara: RashtriyaEkta week celebrations commenced on Wednesday at Kulgam with Pledge ceremonies held in all offices and other places across the district.
On the occasion, a Pledge taking ceremony was also held at the new conference hall of Mini Secretariat Kulgam, where Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat administered oath to officers, officials and all the participants.
The participants also took the pledge in the spirit of unification of the country which was made possible by the vision and actions of SardarVallabhbhai Patel. They pledged to make their contribution to ensure the internal security of the country.
