Jammu: DIG IRP Range Jammu, Sarah Rizvi on Wednesday visited this Hqrs and interacted with officers/officials, apart from organizing the inaugural function of Bakery Shop and ATM installed at this Unit. The DIG IRP Range Jammu was received by Pawan Parihar, SSP
Commandant IRP 16th Bn, Rayaz Iqbal Tantray, SP Dy. Commandant, Rakesh Kumar Parihar, SP Supervisory Officer, Banihal Segment and other officers of the unit.
A warm welcome was given to the DIG IRP Range Jammu from the officers/officials of this unit by presenting a guard of honour at Unit Quarter Guard. The DIG inaugurated a Bakery Shop and ATM installed at the main gate of this Unit.
She conducted inspection of Jawans residential barracks Barrack, Dry canteen, recreation Hall, Gym center, Ration store and MT fleet of this unit. In addition, the DIG also inspected the Bakery Shop, wet canteen and main office of this unit.
DIG was presented a Powerpoint presentation displaying a map of the whole campus, all the works executed and deployments of manpower of this unit. Thereafter, DIG conducted Darbar of police personnel comprising about 200 Police personnel including GOs of this unit. She interacted with the Jawans /Officers present in the Darbar.
All the participants present in the Darbar were asked to putforth their grievance/problems if any faced by them at the unit level or at personal. During the Darbar some Officers/ Officials put forth their grievances to which a patient hearing was given by the DIG. She assured that their genuine grievances will be redressed on priority basis.
Later, the DIG IRP Range Jammu handed over appointment order to the Wd/o of Late const Sarfraz Ahmad who laid his life in the sake of Nation while fighting with militants in District Srinagar at P/S Nowhatta on 15th of August 2022.
