180 Bn CRPF organizes Volleyball, Cricket Tournament in Tral

Pulwama: 180 Bn CRPF, Tral organized Volleyball & Cricket Tournament under Civic Action Programme 2022-23 from 09/10/2023 to 14/10/2023, in which 12 teams from Tral Region participated in Volleyball tournament and 12 teams participated in Cricket Tournament.
Final match of cricket tournament was played between Team Saldarman and Team Y.S.S. Tral on 13/10/2023, in which team Saldarman was victorious. Similarly the final match of Volleyball tournament was played between team Tral-e-Bala & team Shah-e-humdan Tral on 14/10/2023, in which team Shah-e-humdan Tral was victorious.
Apart from trophies, all the participating teams in this tournament were given sports kits as well as track suits to the players. The main objective of this tournament was to make the youth aware of sports and encourage them to play outdoor games. During this tournament, the women team from Tral region also participated in the Volleyball competition, and a team of Divyang participated in the Cricket competition. Through this Civic Action Programme, CRPF made an effort that in coming days the youth here should make significant progress in sports and bring glory to the country.
In the closing ceremony of the tournament, Alok Awasthy, DIG SKOR, CRPF, Aizaz Ahmed Zargar, SSP Awantipora, Rajeev Yadav, Commandant-130 Bn, Yogesh Purohit, Commandant-110 Bn Arun Kumar Bharati, Commandant-185 Bn along with officers of 180 Bn CRPF and other administrative officers of the sub-division were present. The guests present at the programme appreciated the tournament and encouraged the players to participate enthusiastically in such sports competitions.
