The Deputy Commissioner said that the selection of Mankote under the ABP by the NITI Aayog is a matter of pride for the whole district.
He underscored the critical role the Aspirational block program will play in the lives of the local residents. He said that the government interventions in these areas will significantly improve the quality of life, providing opportunities for growth and prosperity.
He passionately emphasized that Mankote, akin to many other aspirational blocks, holds immense potential, and it is the collective responsibility of citizens, community leaders, and government officials to unlock this potential and uplift the lives of its residents. Recognizing the significance of these regions, the government has placed a dedicated focus on their development.
The DC also interacted with the patients and took stock of the basic facilities and infrastructure available in the PHC. He directed the health authorities to maintain cleanliness and provide efficient health services to people.
The event was attended by SDM Mendhar, Chief Medical Officer, Block Medical Officer, Tehsildar and Block Development Officer, all of whom passionately pledged their unwavering support to the Sankalp Saptah initiative, demonstrating their commitment to the well-being of the community.
