3 Kishtwar Govt Schools get computer labs with 25 computers provided under CSR

Kishtwar : In a major impetus, the Education department Kishtwar has received 25 computer systems under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for establishment of IT labs in three Government Schools.
The Upper Primary School Hasti (Kishtwar zone), Government Middle School Nagra and Government High School Cherji (Nagseni Zone) have been benefited with extensive efforts of District Administration under the leadership of Dr. Devansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner.
The demand was projected before Armstrong Pame, Director in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Government of India during his visit to the District around three months back.
These schools were identified for establishment of computer labs to be funded under CSR.
Keeping his word, Armstrong Pame took up the matter with the Mumbai based NGO Apni Pathshala, which in collaboration with Selligion Technologies Mumbai further coordinated with District Administration Kishtwar to fulfill the formalities required for sanctioning of the computer systems in favour of the Education department Kishtwar.
District administration Kishtwar with constant follow up of the initiative ensured fulfilling of all formalities as required by the NGO Apnipathshala and Selligion Technologies in terms of provision of basic infrastructural facilities such as chairs, tables, electric sockets, internet connections etc for the establishment of the lab in the said schools.
Finally, after completing all formalities required 25 computer systems shipment was received and handed over to the schools.
Establishment of computer labs in these schools will go a long way in promoting digital and computer literacy among the students. Continuous follow up of the usage of the computer systems will be taken by the providers that will ensure best utilization of the facility.
District Administration & people of Kishtwar have thanked for the kind efforts by Armstrong Pame, Director, in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (GoI), Apnipathshala, Mumbai and Selligion Technologies Pvt Ltd. Mumbai and looks forward to more collaborations in future.
