Jammu: Police on Thursday said that Police Station Bishnah Jammu has solved a murder case and also arrested four accused in this connection.
In a statement issued on Thursday Police in Jammu said that murder case mystery of Sunny Saansiya S/o Baldev Raj R/o Kothey Bulanday, Chorli,Bishnah, who was attacked by some unknown persons on 14/9/2023 at his residence and succumbed to his injuries, when he was taken to the hospital, has been solved by PS Bishnah Jammu, recalling therein that a case FIR under relevant sections was registered at PS Bishnah and investigation started. Stating that after registering the case special police teams of Police Station Bishnah led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and assisted by SHO Police Station Bishnah Inspr Vikram Sharma did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area and connecting various leads rounded up a suspected person, Police in it’s statement further said that during questioning one accused namely Sukhdev Singh @Makhan, R/o Palli Village, Bari Brahmana, Distt. Samba admitted to the commission of this heinous crime and also disclosed the involvement of others who had provided the logistics support, and concealed the vehicles and weapons(Tokas, and Pistol) used in the commission of offence, adding therein that on the disclosure of the main accused three more accused namely 2. Dushant Kumar S/o Jagjeevan Sharma R/o Palli 3. Sarpanch Yuvraj Singh S/o Chain Singh R/o Kallana, Arnia Jammu and 4. Nasir Khan S/o Babble R/o Badhar Khan, Bishnah Jammu were also arrested.
Police in it’s statement furthermore said that the accused namely Sukhdev Singh @Makhan, R/o Palli Village, Bari Brahmana, Distt. Samba also confessed his involvement in other crimes also, adding that “the vehicle (motorcycle) that was used after the commission of offence for fleeing from the scene of crime was also recovered that had been thrown in an irrigation canal”. In the concluding para of it’s statement Police said that the overall arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta, adding therein that further investigation of the case is going on and more arrests are likely to be made in the above case.
