Doda: Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan on Friday congratulated the runner-up girls team of Doda for their outstanding performance in the Janmashtami JK Kabaddi Championship.
The championship was organised by Swami Vivekananda Sports Club J&K Jammu. The girls’ Kabaddi team belongs to PARISHA Doda (Nari Niketan) under Mission Vatsalya, where orphan and poor girls are being provided with free educational, residential and other needs.
He commended their hard work and dedication, highlighting the tough competition they faced. The team has also been acknowledged as the best defender in the championship.
DC acknowledged the efforts of the students who interacted with him during the championship, appreciating their enthusiasm and support spirit.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the team and attendees that Doda would continue to strive for excellence in future tournaments, representing the district with pride. He thanked everyone for their support and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success.
