SSP Pulwama chairs crime/ security review meeting at DPL Pulwama

Srinagar: The SSP Pulwama Mohd Yousif on Saturday chaired a crime/security review meeting at District Police Lines Pulwama wherein the officers were directed to remain extra-vigilant & strengthen nakas/checkpoints, besides generate actionable intelligence to thwart the nefarious designs of anti-national elements.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the meeting was attended by SP Hqrs Pulwama, DySP PCs, SDPO Kakapora, SDPO Litter, All SHOs, IC SOGs, and Incharge PPs of Police District Pulwama. During the meeting, SSP Pulwama urged the participants to expedite anti-terrorist operations and prioritize the swift resolution of pending UAPA cases. The security of vulnerable individuals and other vital aspects of policing, including verifications, the disposition of NDPS cases, inquest proceedings, and other pertinent issues related to accountable policing were extensively deliberated.
Recognizing the gravity of the drug menace and social crimes, SSP Pulwama emphasized the need for intensified efforts in combating these challenges and working diligently to prevent drug abuse and cybercrimes in the community.
During the meeting, participating officers briefed the chairing officer about the security scenario in their respective areas and the proactive security measures being implemented to counter the challenges. Highlighting the importance of synergy and enhanced coordination among all security forces operating in the region, SSP Pulwama urged the officers to collaborate closely with their counterparts to ensure a peaceful atmosphere within the district. The officers were instructed to adopt a community-centric approach and prioritize the swift resolution of community grievances.
At the conclusion of the meeting, SSP Pulwama expressed gratitude to all participating officers for their unwavering dedication and urged them to continue work with determination and vigilance.
