Digital Services Awareness rally flagged-off by Police & Civil Admin at B’gam

Budgam: In a remarkable display of commitment to digital empowerment, an awareness rally was on Monday organized by District Administration Budgam in collaboration with School Education department Budgam.
The event, centered on the theme of ‘Digital Jammu and Kashmir’, was aimed at promoting digital literacy and highlighting the numerous benefits of online services.
The rally, a vibrant showcase of enthusiasm and dedication, was flagged-off by Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam, Al- Tahir Gilani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Nasir; CEO Budgam, Romana Qazi and District Informatics Officer and other officers and officials of the district. Their presence underscored the importance of digital initiatives in fostering progress and inclusivity.
Commencing from the SSP Office in Budgam, the rally witnessed participation from students of various educational institutions coming together early in the morning. Their spirit and fervor for the cause were truly infectious, inspiring to everyone who witnessed the event.
As the rally progressed through the streets of Budgam, participants carried banners, placards, and shared informative pamphlets, spreading awareness about the transformative potential of digital technologies in the region. The vibrant procession drew the attention of locals and passersby, amplifying the message of digital inclusion.
The grand culmination of this remarkable rally took place at the Sports Stadium Budgam, where the participants were greeted with applause and encouragement.
Speakers at the event reiterated the importance of embracing the digital age, not only for educational and economic growth but also for fostering a more connected and empowered community.
The event highlighted the strides being made in the digital landscape of Jammu and Kashmir and showcased the potential for further growth. It also served as a call to action, encouraging individuals and organizations to actively participate in the ongoing digital revolution.
