Bhrashtachar Mukht J&K Week activities take off in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: District Administration Kishtwar has devised a vibrant action plan to observe Bharatachar Mukat J&K Week starting from on Monday.
The comprehensive action plan was devised at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav and attended by all key stakeholders.
Key Highlights of the Action Plan stressed on a comprehensive approach to disseminate awareness among all.
During the meeting the Ground-Level Engagement was stressed upon as from Day 1 to Day 6. The stakeholder departments, including Revenue, Jal Shakti, RDD, and PDD, will be actively present at the grassroots level to address grievances and raise awareness among villagers and panchayats based on a predetermined schedule. On Day 6, appointed nodal officers will gather feedback from the public, assessing the awareness levels and grievance redressal process. In the evening, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar will hold a press conference to discuss the outcomes.
Under the Digital Initiative – Hello Kishtwar, the online platform shall remain open for one hour daily from 11 AM to 12 Noon during the entire week for citizens to report grievances and complaints related to corruption on IVRS number 8470800900. These complaints will be also recorded both online and offline through a dedicated control room.
On September 8, an awareness conference will be hosted by SSP Kishtwar, focusing on penalties under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Prabhari officers will convene gram sabhas in their respective panchayats, with representatives from key departments.
On September 5, 2023, during the occasion of Teachers Day Celebration, the schools across District Kishtwar will conduct anti-corruption programs, emphasizing the importance of ethics and integrity.
All corruption-related complaints, including anonymous will be referred to the police for investigation and necessary action. Complaint counters will be established at district headquarters, tehsil, and block offices.
The Auto-escalation cases under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) will be promptly addressed, and penalties will be imposed on officers/officials violating PSGA timelines.
The digital week will align with the anti-corruption campaign, showcasing the role of online services in combating corruption.Measures will be taken against individuals filing frivolous complaints to send a clear message against misuse of anti-corruption measures.
Google Form links will be disseminated through social media and other platforms to encourage public feedback. A massive publicity campaign involving citizens, youth clubs, PRI’s, and media will ensure door-to-door information dissemination on the anti-corruption drive.
The Pani Samitis will join panchayat-level gram sabhas to inspect Jal Jeevan Mission schemes and address public grievances related to implementation.
The Executive Officer of MC Kishtwar will organize a six-day public grievance redressal program and establish complaint counters. Additionally, public rallies in municipal areas will raise awareness in collaboration with GHSS Boys and Girls.
This dedicated effort aims to foster a corruption-free environment and uphold the principles of good governance in District Kishtwar. Deputy commissioner Kishtwar encouraged active participation from all residents,togatherly to make a difference.
