Srinagar: In connection with ‘National Sports Day’ celebrations, Amar Singh College organized multiple sports events including Tug of war, Chess, 100 and 200 Mtrs Race, Plank challenge & Lemon Race from 26th to 29th of August 2023.
Hundreds of students from different Departments of the College participated in these events.The events were organized by the Department of Physical Education and College Sports Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College, Prof Sheikh Ajaz Bashir highlighted the history & importance of National Sports Day and briefed the students about the event.
Prof Ajaz Kanth, Co-Convener Sports Committee threw light on the goals of the programme and the importance of celebrating National Sports Day.
