Srinagar: To boost the morale of the youth, Police on Saturday felicitated newly selected JKAS candidates of district Kulgam in a ceremony held at DPO Kulgam.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar SP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal congratulated all the qualifiers of J&K Civil Services Examination of district Kulgam. While extending warm greetings and appreciation to the selected candidates, SP Kulgam said that he is hopeful that their selection will inspire and motivate the youth from the district Kulgam to crack other prestigious examinations at national level and in Jammu & Kashmir as well in the coming years. He also emphasised upon the selected candidates to work for the betterment of the society in their best possible capacities and capabilities and to become youth icons for the district. During the interactive session at DPO Kulgam the selected candidates reiterated that they will utilise their experiences with the aspirants of civil services in the district.
Besides, the Addl. SP Kulgam, Addl SP NHW Qazigund, DySP Hqrs Kulgam, SDPO Qazigund, SDPO DH Pora, DySP DAR Kulgam, DySP PC Kulgam, DySP PC Hatipora and other senior officers of police present also congratulated the qualifiers. The qualifiers of district Kulgam thanked SP Kulgam and other officers for warm welcome and felicitation.
