“Meri Maati Mera Desh”: Sheep Husbandry Deptt Kathua felicitates Families of Martyrs

Kathua: Sheep Husbandry Department Kathua on Monday felicitated families of the martyrs as part of “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign, organised under the supervision of District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Dr Ajay Sudan.
The members of Sainik Welfare Board Kathua, including President Manohar Singh, Cap Gyan Singh Pathania (Chairman), Cap Balbir Singh Pathania (Vice Chairman) spoke on the occasion and threw light on the inspirational stories of martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Families of Martyr RFN. Surinder Kumar (19 Grenadier), Martyr HAV. Subash Singh (28 Punjab Regiment) and Martyr RFN, Mangal Singh (15-JAK- RIF) were honored on the occasion.
District Sheep Husbandry Officer said that “Meri Maati Mera Desh” Campaign aims at honoring the families of the Martyrs/Freedom fighters who have made ultimate sacrifices for the motherland, besides expressing gratitude to their selfless services and acknowledging their valour, fortitude which will inspire others to follow their footsteps.
