Hakeem vows to protect socio- political asirations of common people

Says “Art.370 fiefdom of not any particular party but common man’s faith”

Budgam: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen on Saturday reiterated his party’s resolve to fight for restoration of the constitutional and democratic rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters, “Restoration of constitutional and democratic rights and protection to the identity , dignity and honour of the people was core mission of PDF ,Hakeem said while speaking at a workers meeting of PDF zone Budgam here on Saturday .
The PDF leader said guarantees to the basic rights of people was imperative for building mutual trust and confidence adding that restoration of rights on land and employment to the domiciles was fundamental to build mutual trust and remove prevailing socio – economic uncertainty in Jammu and Kashmir. He has urged the center to initiate meaningful CBMs to bridge the gap of prevailing mistrust about mainstream adding that paramount need of the hour was to promote value based politics that would usher unity , amity and prosperity , not create hatred and animosity. He said every initiative towards nationalization should include every sect, every region and every religion to show a real picture of the secular and plural character of the country , which has glorious history of unity in diversity.
“ While it was obligatory for every citizen of a country to be a true patriot but it was equally important that people at helm of affairs do not give any place to trust deficit in its relations with general public. , PDF Chairman maintained adding that as a goodwill gesture towards bringing peace , normalcy and development , Center should address genuine demands and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir , without any further delay . He said all hopes and aspirations of the people have been hurt by unilaterally bifurcating and down grading Jammu and Kashmir state into two miniature union territories adding that even towering legal experts of the country have observed that the step was legally not in consonance with the Constitution . “ Commonman’saspirations shall have to be addressed , for building a harmonious society , Hakeem Yaseen observed adding that Art.370 was not fiefdom of any particular political party but faith of common peoples. Hakeem also urged for curbing activities of the fringe elements, indulging in spreading communal hatred , religious intolerance and polarization of the society for petty political gains. ,
“Governments may come and go , but what was supreme is to protect the pluristic credential of the country , PDF Chairman maintained adding that Unity in Diversity was the hallmark of Indias centuries old ethos .
Hakeem Yaseen also cautioned the people against political parties that were thriving on the policy of deceit and lies , observing that satiating political interests by exploiting sentiments and emotions of the innocent people , on false promises , was against the ethic and human values .
PDF Chief asked the worker to widen their public outreach to listen to the burning issues of people and to help them in redressing their problems and grievances . He asked the workers to improve their public interface adding that future of politics now belongs only to those who have earns trust and goodwill of the common people . He asked the PDF cadreto educate common people about the need to elect an honest , talented and committed political leader-ship , for the overall good of the state.
