Handwara : Nasir Meer, State Secretary & Incharge Kashmir Province, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), held a press conference at party office in Handwara on Friday.
While addressing the media persons, he mainly highlighted the Unemployment issue in the UT, besides speaking on Indira Awas Yojna (IAY), and Fees being charged by private schools.
Meer said that, “if Article 370 was barrier for development of Kashmir, then why are we lacking development after its abrogation, and why unemployment is at its peak.”
He added that, “if Ram Vilas Paswan allotted steel plant for Kashmir worth 150 crore, why it is defunct, while Plant could have adjusted more than 4000 youth of Jammu & Kashmir.”
Meer further requested the concerned department to look keenly in the matter of IAY, “as deserving candidates are not getting benefits of these schemes because they don’t have any influence.”
He also appealed the people of Jammu & Kashmir that if anyone is facing any sort of discrimination, they can contact him at his office.
Moreover, Nasir Meer told that Pvt. Schools are charging fees higher than the capacity of a common man, & said that pvt schools are fleecing the common men.
He requested the fee fixation committee to look into the matter and said that there should be 10% reservation & fee concession for poor class in these nominated pvt schools.
