Tejmalla Memorial Cricket Cup culminates in thrilling final match

Srinagar: The highly anticipated final match of the TEJMALLA MEMORIAL Cricket Cup took place on Friday, showcasing a remarkable display of sportsmanship and talent.
The thrilling encounter unfolded between the Kupwara Tigers and the 777 Masters Jammu teams, captivating cricket enthusiasts from all corners. In an intense battle of skill and strategy, Kupwara Tigers set a challenging target, amassing a score of 286 runs. The match witnessed a nail-biting finish as the 777 Masters Jammu clinched victory with a sensational 5-wicket triumph, a testament to their unwavering determination and teamwork.
Distinguished dignitaries graced the event as Chief Guests, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. Among the esteemed attendees were: Mr. Rakesh Pandita of Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd, who extended his support to the event and emphasized the importance of sports in fostering community spirit. Mr. Deepak Kaw, Marketing Manager, whose presence underscored the significance of sports as a unifying force, while Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad (KAS), Divisional Sports Officer, whose dedication to promoting sports excellence was recognized and appreciated. Gowher, SHO Khanyar, who commended the players for their dedication and resilience on the field.
Ashok Bhat, District President of BJP in Srinagar, who highlighted the role of sports in nurturing leadership qualities among the youth. Mubarak Gul, ex-MLA and former Speaker of the Legislative Council, who emphasized the value of such tournaments in honing the skills of emerging talents. Mr. Mohammad Sadiq Shah and party, who joined in celebrating the success of the event and the participants. The TEJMALLA MEMORIAL Cricket Cup not only showcased exceptional cricketing prowess but also exemplified the power of sports to unite diverse communities in a shared spirit of camaraderie. The resounding success of the tournament is a testament to the collective efforts of players, organizers, sponsors, and supporters.
