Ganderbal: A meeting of District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) for effective monitoring and functioning of Drug De-addiction centres for district Ganderbal was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah here.
The chair directed the members to ensure awareness about drug abuse at panchayat and municipal ward level.
Targets were also given to make the panchayat and municipal ward free from drug abuse by involving PRIs, Lumberdars and Chowkidars.
Furthermore, the chair directed members to keep check on sale of habit forming drugs.
The meeting was attended by District Social Welfare Officer (member secretary) Ganderbal, Dy.SP Ganderbal and CMO Ganderbal.
