Kupwara : Under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav (AKAM), JJM Fortnight being observed from from 1st to 15th August, 2023, Special Gramsabhas were conducted in 74 Panchayats of different blocks of Kupwara district Saturday.
During these Special Gram Sabhas detailed discussions regarding JJM were held, reporting of 100% FHTC villages as Har Ghar Jal villages and certification of Har Ghar Jal villages was done.
A drive was also started to install signages on water supply schemes. Besides, JJM nodal persons were identified from each village, and field testing kits were made available in each village and inspection of works being executed under JJM was also conducted.
Similarly under Meri Maati, Mera Desh, sticker pasting campaign was started by ARTO Kupwara at fitness Ground Kupwara where hundreds of stickers carrying the message Meri Maati, Mera Desh- “Mitti Ko Naman. Veeron ka Vandan” were pasted on vehicles.
