Distt Admin Reasi distributes engagement orders among Anganwadi Workers, Helpers

Admin Also hands over Motorised tricycles to specially abled persons

Reasi: In a special function held under virtual mode, Lieutenant Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha handed over engagement orders to recently selected candidates as Sanginis ( Anganwadi Workers ) and Sahayikas ( Anganwadi Helpers) in Social welfare deptartment.
The orders were handed over to the selectees at District Reasi, in presence of DDC Chairman, Saraf Singh Nag , Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal , Vice Chairperson DDC Reasi Sajra Qadir, District Programme Officer Poshan Reasi Mohd Anwar Bandey, District Social Welfare Officer Sumit Suri and PRIs of distt Reasi.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman said that PRIs need to aware the public about various schemes of the department and urged them to organise gram sabhas, for trickling down of information relating to pensions and other schemes to the public.
While emphasing on the absolute transparency being observed in the selection process, the Deputy Commissioner Reasi also informed the audience that the selection is done absolutely on merit as per the criteria set up by the administrative department. A total of 29 engagement orders of Anganwadi workers and Helpers were issued to the candidates.
Further a total of 21 scooties/ motorised tricycles were distributed to the specially abled eligible beneficiaries, free of cost by the Social Welfare Department Reasi.
