When the world is torn apart by wars and the Artificial Intelligence is knocking on our doors, people are caught in the whirlpool of instability. When the instability has occupied the every inch of our lives, there is a cry for panacea. The remedies that can act as an ointment on the green wounds. When the injuries have turned into repelling sores, there is need for something urgent that can set things right. In the dark tunnels through which we are going, what is the thing that can help us to traverse the stormy waters of the violent ocean. Mental frustrations are on rise. Social fabric is torn into pieces. The pal of gloom is almost in every one’s life. Living has become a burden while death is an easy is an easy option. In these troubled times, what is the way to be followed? I think the solution lies in counselling. From children to the old, everyone is in dire need of it. There are many causes responsible for this. The first is competition. In other words, there is race for material gains. It is crystal clear everyone can’t get what he or she wants. In this race of expectations, there is cent per cent chances of losing the game. At this moment, it is Counselling which helps to soothe the furious or numbed nerves. The second is imitation. We have forgotten ourselves by imitating others. In the hope of becoming this and that, we have not become either. Every one’s position is different.

“A person cannot fight against the external problems. However, he or she has the potential to be internally strong to traverse the troubled waters of life. Counselling is a panacea to all problems. We need experienced counsellors to set things right. How long shall we keep fighting with the invisible monsters of anxiety and loneliness when there are ways to escape from these?”

Wearing someone’s shoes without looking at is fraught with dangers. Its results are that we are found nowhere. Here, counselling has the major role to play. The third is jealousy. It has done the major damage to the society. No one is happy with the progress of others. Others’ prosperity is like a thorn in the eye. The jealous person is unable to live as he or she is preoccupied with the prosperity of others. At this juncture, counselling can make understand that jealousy is no way out. The fourth is family disputes. This has taken heavy toll of everyone. Every other person is caught by the beck by this problem. It snatches a person’s peace and makes his or her life difficult. In this situation, counselling can mend the crumbling walls of the family and set it right. In short, we all have to rise to the occasion and set things right in the present moment which is more disturbing than before. Everywhere there is one problem or other with mouth wide open. A person cannot fight against the external problems. However, he or she has the potential to be internally strong to traverse the troubled waters of life. Counselling is a panacea to all problems. We need experienced counsellors to set things right. How long shall we keep fighting with the invisible monsters of anxiety and loneliness when there are ways to escape from these?
