Chairperson DDC Ramban conducts extensive tour of Gool, visits SDH, reviews developmental scenario of area

Ramban : Chairperson District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan, on Wednesday conducted an extensive tour of Sub-division Gool to take stock of the developmental scenario and the basic infrastructure and services available for the people.
The Chairperson was accompanied by the BMO Gool, Dr Ashfaq Hussain, PRIs, prominent citizens and locals.
The Chairperson visited Sub District Hospital and Jan Aushadhi Kendra to take first hand appraisal about health care facilities and staff strength including doctors available for providing medical treatment to patients.
The Chairperson directed the BMO Gool to extend quality health care facilities to the patients visiting in different health centers of Sub-Division Gool.
Reviewing sanitation conditions, stock position of medicines and other equipment, the Chairperson directed health officers to provide medicines and necessary treatment to visiting patients, besides sensitizing them and their attendants about personal hygiene and importance of healthy lifestyle.
Meanwhile, Dr. Shamshad Shan also met with the number of deputations and individuals to listen to their grievances. She passed on the spot direction to the concerned officers for early redressal of the same.
Interacting with the people, the Chairperson informed about the initiatives taken by the District Development Council and other departments especially for the development of the rural and far-flung areas of the district.
After listening to issues and demands highlighted by the locals, the Chairperson assured them their genuine issues shall be taken up with the higher authorities for their desired redressal.
