Ramban : To remember the Brave heroes of Kargil, the Officers, JCOs and Jawans of MLI Regiment of Indian Army organized a two day medical checkup camp at the New Convent Institute Maitra.
The camp which witnessed participation of around 360 students along with their parents and teachers was organized to provide comprehensive health and dental check up to the students. The camp yielded remarkable results, with many students benefiting from early screening and detection of various illnesses like Myopia, Colour blindness, stunted growth and many more.
The other objective of the camp was to enlighten the children and parents about the importance of physical fitness, balanced nutrition, dental hygiene and regular health check-ups.
The school authorities and parents were counseled and advised for further treatment by the Army medical team. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for organizing this educational and motivational event.
