Div Com(K) reviews Crop Cut & “Fardi Girdawar”

Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan Wednesday convened a meeting to review the progress of Crop cut and “Fardi Girdawari”.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Deputy Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other concerned officers were present in the meeting whereas all Deputy Commissioners including Leh & Kargil participated in the meeting through Video Conferencing.

The meeting was informed that the process of Crop Cutting has already been started in many districts and is currently going on decent pace.

Div Com directed all DCs to rope in Agriculture Department in the activity to get an idea about the quality and yield of the present Kharief crops.

He further directed that the “Fardi Girdawari” (which is the activity by revenue department to encertain the status of land with respect to crops and other revenue parameters) shall be strictly adhered and it should be done on the spot. The mandatory visits by ACRs & DCs shall be undertaken as per the guidelines issued in this regard.
