Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday chaired a meeting of heads of line departments here to review the progress of projects being executed in the district under District Capex budget 2023-24.
On the occasion, the DC was apprised with regard to projects being executed by various departments in the district. He was also informed about the tendering process and execution of different works.
After reviewing the sector wise progress of the projects, the DC impressed upon all the departments/executing agencies to ensure timely completion of all stages of execution of works viz. estimation, tendering, allotment and on ground execution of all developmental works in a time bound manner.
Reviewing the issues hampering the pace of progress, the DC asked the concerned to monitor the pace of progress on a regular basis and resolve the issues hampering the progress of several works at an earliest.
The DC directed the officers to put in best efforts for maximum and optimum utilization of funds under different schemes.
Dr Owais instructed concerned officers to involve all PRIs in identification of all priority works to be taken up in hand for the financial year 2023-24.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ali Afsar Khan, Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, Executive Engineers of R&B, Jal Shakti, JKPDCL, Chief Medical officer and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
