Jammu : North Zone Selection Committee has picked up four players of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association for Deodhar trophy .
Reports said North Zone Zonal Selection Committee met on Monday at New Delhi to select the North Zone team for the ensuing Deodhar Trophy. Four players of JKCA namely Shubham Khajuria, Vivrant Sharma, Yudhvir Singh and Aqib Nabi have been chosen to represent North Zone. The selectors have chosen 8 reserve players in addition to the main squad of 15. Aqib Nabi is in the reserve list.
Deodhar Trophy will be played at Puducherry from 24th July to 03 August stated Brig Anil Gupta in a press release issued by JKCA. It’s another feather in the cap of JKCA and the acknowledgement of the growing stature of cricket in J&K. The Sub Committee members have complimented the players selected for the Deodhar Trophy and hoped that they would make a mark in the tournament with their performances.
