PMSSS 2023-24: GDC Doda organises Interactive workshop

Doda : Government Degree College Doda, in collaboration with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, on Thursday organised an interactive workshop on Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) 2023-24 for the aspiring students of Chenab region.
Dr. Ajeet Angral, Nodal Officer, PMSSS J&K graced the occasion as the expert. Program began with the welcome address by Dr. Ajaz A Wani, Nodal officer PMSSS (HOD Zoology) Facilitation Center GDC Doda.
In his address, Dr Wani welcomed one and all and highlighted the achievements of facilitation centre GDC Doda in verifying the documents from 2014 and cordial atmosphere of team with the students.
The College Principal, Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal, spoke on the occasion and highlighted the significance of the student centric PMSSS. He stressed upon the student community to fully avail golden opportunities like PMSSS from the side of Govt. of India and excel in their careers.
It was followed by a detailed lecture by the expert, Dr. Ajeet Angral consultant PMSSS Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, he highlighted various areas related to the scheme which includes registration, verification of documents, choice filling and other experience based important things.
About 450 students with their parents attended the workshop.
A healthy interactive session was held between the stakeholder (students) and the AICTE team at the end of session Prof. Syed KazimHoD Economics, Dr.Ravinder Singh Rana AP Botany, Dilbir Pathania Asst. Secretary JK Board Sub Office Doda and others were present on the occasion.
Whole program was coordinated by Imteyaz Ahmed Asst. Prof. Department of Zoology .The programme culminate with the vote of thanks by Prof. Mohd.Ashraf Head Dept. of History.
